Rates & Delivery Times

Currently gamestop.ca processes and ships items Monday-Friday. Orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be processed and/or shipped the following business day. We will not be processing or shipping orders on the following holidays: New Years Day, Family Day, Good Friday, Victoria Day, Canada Day, Labour Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Please note that all home delivery orders are currently shipped from Ontario, so delivery times will vary based on the delivery address and shipping options you provide at checkout. To receive your order as quickly as possible, please select the "Express Shipping" option at checkout.

gamestop.ca does not ship nor make deliveries on weekends. Weekend days should not be considered when calculating your delivery date.

Will my order be taxed?

All orders will be taxable according to the provincial tax codes of the address to which they are delivered.

Will there be duties on product that I order from gamestop.ca?

No. Because gamestop.ca ships from within Canada, you will not be required to pay additional duties or tariffs on items that you purchase.

Do you deliver to PO Boxes?

gamestop.ca does deliver to Canadian PO Boxes. Orders shipped to PO Boxes must be shipped using our PO Box service, and cannot be shipped Express.

Do you deliver internationally?

gamestop.ca will only ship orders within the country of Canada.

Please be informed that your designated ship to address must reflect the address of the ultimate end-user. gamestop.ca will not process any order which specifies an address of a freight forwarder, warehouse, distribution center, airport or hotel.

Delivery on Statutory Holidays

Statutory Holidays: Our shipping service does not make deliveries on Statutory Holidays. Express shipments scheduled for delivery on a Statutory Holiday will be delivered on the following day. If a title is scheduled for release on a Statutory Holiday, express orders will be delivered the following day.

Civic Holidays: Please note that our shipping facility is located in Ontario. If an Ontario civic holiday falls on the Monday prior to a title's release, the title will not be shipped until the following day. In cases where a civic holiday is observed outside of Ontario, express shipments will be delivered until the following day.

Tracking Your Shipment

A Purolator or Canada Post tracking number is provided via email at the time your package ships. Please note that items that cannot be delivered may be returned to the Purolator or Canada Post depot for pickup. We strongly encourage our cusotmers to track their package online to ensure that it is successfully received.

Pre-ordering products for in-store pickup is fast and easy. First, ensure you’re logged in on gamestop.ca, and simply add eligible pre-orders to your shopping cart using the "Add to Cart" button. In your shopping cart, click on the "Pre-order online & pickup in-store" button to continue. A $5 deposit is required to ensure your product is reserved for you in-store. Please be aware that regular in-stock merchandise are not eligible for pickup in-store.

You’ll need to select an GameStop store where you’ll pickup your order. You can do this by using the map feature at the checkout and searching by city, store address, or postal code. Once your order is placed, you cannot change your selected store. You will receive an order confirmation by email and a call from the store once your product arrives. At that time, you’ll be required to pay the balance of your order at the store.

If you would like to cancel your pre-order, please visit the store that you directed the order to. An associate will be more than glad to assist you with the refund.

Please note that your order details will not be visible to the associates at your pick-up location immediately. Details will be sent within 24 hours of placing your order.

Please note: This is a digital product. The product will be delivered in the form of a redeemable code which will be viewable on the "My Order" page.


All orders for Digital products are manually checked by our team prior to approval. If your order is placed outside of normal office hours (Monday to Friday), this may delay processing of your order.


Please note: Digital products are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged once the order has been processed.
