NOTICE CONCERNING THE QUEBEC LEGAL WARRANTY

The law provides a warranty on the goods you purchase or lease: they mustbe usable for normal use for a reasonable length of time.

The Consumer Protection Act gives a warranty on all goods you purchase or lease from a merchant.

The goods must be usable:

  • For the purposes for which they are ordinarily used (Section 37 of the Act); and
  • In normal use for a reasonable length of time, which may vary according to the price paid, the terms of the contract and the conditions of use (Section 38 of the Act).

EB Game / GameStop

We offer a 30 day limited* warranty in‐store for all new and used products – please refer to our Return Policy for details. Please review the documentation provided by the vendor regarding the manufacturer's warranty which is included with all new merchandise. A receipt is required as proof of purchase for replacement of defective item.

In most cases, the following warranty time frames apply:

Bethesda

Bethesda will repair or replace defective purchases within 90 days of purchase.

Biogenik

6 month warranty on all Biogeniks branded items against all manufacturer defects. In order to claim warranty, please return your purchase to any GameStop or GameStop location, along with your original receipt within 6 months of purchase. Manufacturer's warranty extends to manufacturing defects only, and does not cover damage, neglect or wear.

Intec

Intec Warranty is lifetime on most products. 1 Year Limited Warranty applies to Intec products that have speakers, rechargeable batteries or inverters. Datel Products are a 90 Day Warranty.

Konami

KONAMI'S LIMITED WARRANTY:

Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser of this Konami software product that the medium on which this computer program is recorded is free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. This Konami product is sold "as is", without express or implied warranty of any kind, and Konami is not liable for any losses or damages of any kind resulting from use of this program. Konami agrees for a period of ninety (90) days to either repair or replace, at its option, free of charge, any Konami product, postage paid, with proof of date of purchase, at its Factory Service Center. This warranty is not applicable to normal wear and tear. This warranty shall not be applicable and shall be void if the defect in the Konami software product has arisen through abuse, unreasonable use, mistreatment, or neglect.

THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES AND NO OTHER REPRESENTATATIONS OR CLAIMS OF ANY NATURE SHALL BE BINDING ON OR OBLIGATE KONAMI. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES APPLICABLE TO THIS SOFTWARE PRODUCT, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED TO THE NINETY (90) DAY PERIOD DESCRIBED ABOVE. All products must be deemed defective by a Konami Customer Service representative and an RMA number assigned prior to returning the product. All products received not matching this criteria will be returned if a Konami Customer Service Representative cannot reach you within three days upon receipt of the unauthorized return.

LIMITED WARRANTY

(U.S. and Canada)

Definitions: The term "Software" as used in this Limited Warranty means the computer programs contained on the computer media in this package, together with any updates subsequently supplied by SouthPeak Interactive, LLC ("SouthPeak").

The term "Related Materials" means all of the printed or other materials, if any, provided in or with this package or later supplied, or made available (including, but not limited to, in electronic form via the Internet), by SouthPeak for use with the Software.

Warranty Limited To Physical Media: SouthPeak warrants, to the original retail customer only ("you"), that the computer media containing the Software is free from physical defects in physical materials. The duration of this warranty is 90 days from date of purchase by you. If you discover within that period a failure of the computer media to conform to the foregoing warranty, you must promptly notify SouthPeak in writing. In no event shall such notification be effective for any purpose if received by SouthPeak later than 120 days after the date of purchase by you. In any case where you purchase the Software for delivery to you, the "date of purchase" will be considered the date on which it is delivered. Visit www.southpeak.com, or contact SouthPeak at the address on the back cover of this booklet, for detailed instructions for making warranty claims. Within a reasonable time after you notify SouthPeak and provide your receipt or other proof of date of purchase, SouthPeak will, in its sole discretion, (a) repair or replace the Software and/or Related Materials, at SouthPeak's expense, or (b) refund the entire retail license fee for the Software and Related Materials. Local Law Rights: This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may have other rights which vary from State to State. Some States do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, or the limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Governing Law; Severability: This agreement shall be governed by the law of the Commonwealth of Virginia and applicable federal law, and the choice-of-law provisions of Virginia law shall not be applied to substitute the law of any other State or nation. This Limited Warranty is intended to follow and be governed by applicable law and shall apply to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, but shall not, and shall not be interpreted or construed as seeking to, apply in any way that is prohibited by applicable law. In the event of any irreconcilable conflict between this Limited Warranty or any provision(s) hereof, and any applicable law, such law shall take precedence, but only to the minimum extent necessary to prevent any application of this Limited Warranty that is prohibited. If any provision of this Agreement is determined by any court of competent jurisdiction, or arbitrator or other legal authority with competent jurisdiction, to be void, invalid, illegal or unenforceable in any respect for any reason whatsoever, such provision shall be construed as being limited or reduced to the extent necessary for it to be valid and enforceable, or shall be reformed so as to make it valid and enforceable (and the court, arbitrator or other legal authority is authorized and directed to make such reformation). If such construction or reformation is not feasible, then such provision shall be deemed to be stricken herefrom, and the remainder hereof shall continue to be valid and enforceable, and shall be enforced, according to its terms. The United Nations Convention On Contracts for the International Sale of Goods shall not apply to SouthPeak's sale, or your purchase, of the Software or to this Limited Warranty.

Ubisoft

WARRANTY

Ubisoft warrants to the original purchaser of its products that the products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the date of purchase. Ubisoft products are sold “as is,” without any expressed or implied warranties of any kind, and Ubisoft is not liable for any losses or damages of any kind resulting from use of its products. Ubisoft agrees for a period of ninety (90) days to either replace defective product free of charge provided you return the defective item with dated proof of purchase to the store from which the product was originally purchased or repair or replace the defective product at its option free of charge, when accompanied with a proof of purchase and sent to our offices postage prepaid. This warranty is not applicable to normal wear and tear, and shall be void if the defect in the product is found to be as a result of abuse, unreasonable use, mistreatment, or neglect of the product.

Limitations: This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties and no other representations or claims of any nature shall be binding on, or obligate Ubisoft. Any implied warranties applicable to Ubisoft products, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, are limited to the ninety (90) day period described above. In no event will Ubisoft be liable for any special, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from possession, use, or malfunction of Ubisoft products. Some states do not allow limitations as to how long an implied warranty lasts and/or exclusions or limitations of incidental or consequential damages. Notice: Ubisoft reserves the right to make improvements in its products at any time and without notice.

Refunds: Ubisoft cannot provide refunds or otherwise process returns for credit of any kind other than an identical product replacement. Any product refund request must occur at the place of purchase, as the individual retail outlets set their own refund policy. This policy covers identical product replacements only.

Product/Documentation Replacements: Please contact a Ubisoft Technical Support Representative directly before sending your product to us. In many cases, a replacement is not the best solution. Our Support Representatives will help you determine if a replacement is necessary or available. You will need to first acquire an RMA (Return Materials Authorization) number to process your return or replacement. Without an RMA number from a Support Representative, your replacement request will not be processed.

If we determine a return or replacement is necessary:

Within the 90-Day Warranty Period: Please return the product (media only) along with a copy of the original sales receipt, showing the date of purchase, a brief description of the difficulty you are experiencing including your name, address (no PO boxes), RMA number, and phone number to the address below. If the product was damaged through misuse or accident (cracks, scratches), or if you do not have a dated sales receipt, then this 90-day warranty is rendered void and you will need to follow the instructions for returns after the 90-day warranty period.

After the 90-Day Warranty Period: Please return the product (media only) along with a check or money order for the amount corresponding to your product (see replacement fees below) made payable to Ubisoft, a brief description of the difficulty you are experiencing, including your name, address (no PO boxes), RMA number, and phone number to the address below.

WB Games warrants to the best of WB Games' ability to the original consumer purchaser of the Product that the medium on which the Product is recorded shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of ninety (90) days from the original date of purchase. If a defect in materials or workmanship occurs during this ninety (90) day warranty period. WB Games with either repair or replace, at WB Games' option, the Product free of charge. In the event that the Product is no longer available, WB Games may, in its sole discretion, replace the Product with a product of comparable value. The original purchaser is entitled to this warranty only if the date of purchase is registered at point of sale or the consumer can demonstrate (to WB Games' satisfaction) that the Product was purchased within the last ninety (90) days.


Pre-ordering products for in-store pickup is fast and easy. First, ensure you’re logged in on gamestop.ca, and simply add eligible pre-orders to your shopping cart using the "Add to Cart" button. In your shopping cart, click on the "Pre-order online & pickup in-store" button to continue. A $5 deposit is required to ensure your product is reserved for you in-store. Please be aware that regular in-stock merchandise are not eligible for pickup in-store.

You’ll need to select an GameStop store where you’ll pickup your order. You can do this by using the map feature at the checkout and searching by city, store address, or postal code. Once your order is placed, you cannot change your selected store. You will receive an order confirmation by email and a call from the store once your product arrives. At that time, you’ll be required to pay the balance of your order at the store.

If you would like to cancel your pre-order, please visit the store that you directed the order to. An associate will be more than glad to assist you with the refund.

Please note that your order details will not be visible to the associates at your pick-up location immediately. Details will be sent within 24 hours of placing your order.
