What is Klarna?

Klarna is an alternate payment method that allows you to split your purchase into 4 interest-free payments. To use Klarna to pay for your purchase, choose Klarna in the checkout. Your purchase will be split into 4 interest-free payments. The first payment will be taken from your credit or debit card when your order is shipped. The remaining three payments will be automatically charged to your card 14, 28, and 42 days later.

How do I sign up?

If your basket is eligible for 4 interest-free payments with Klarna, you will be able to select Klarna as a payment method during checkout. After your order is shipped, you will be charged for the first quarter of the total amount. Klarna will send a notification once the payment has been processed. You will be informed ahead of time before the next payments.

Which payment methods are accepted?

Klarna currently accepts most debit and credit cards (i.e., Mastercard, Visa, Discover). Please note, prepaid cards are not accepted.

Will I still be charged if my order is cancelled?

Cancellations are subject to our cancellation policy. To cancel your order, please contact us. Once we have processed the cancellation, Klarna will update your payments accordingly. You can check the status of your payments anytime via Klarna’s site or in your Klarna app. Refund processing times vary and can take up to 14 days depending on your financial institution. To check the status of your refund, please confirm first we have updated your payments accordingly and check if you might have already been refunded to your original payment method. If 14 days have passed since the issue of credit and you are still missing your refund, please contact Klarna for further support.

Can I pay before the due date?

Yes. If you want to pay the outstanding balance of your purchase early, simply log into the Klarna App, go to the "Payments" page and select "Pay early"

What if I return or cancel my order?

Shipped Returns

If you have paid for your order with a card, the refund will be made to the same card. Returned or cancelled orders should first be registered with the online store. The refund will be processed within the next 14 days of the online store logging the returned or cancelled order.

In-Store Returns

If you return your order in-store, you will continue to see your outstanding balance owing in the Klarna app, and will be required to pay the remainder of your balance as per Klarna's payment schedule and Pay Later in 4 Agreement.

Pre-ordering products for in-store pickup is fast and easy. First, ensure you’re logged in on gamestop.ca, and simply add eligible pre-orders to your shopping cart using the "Add to Cart" button. In your shopping cart, click on the "Pre-order online & pickup in-store" button to continue. A $5 deposit is required to ensure your product is reserved for you in-store. Please be aware that regular in-stock merchandise are not eligible for pickup in-store.

You’ll need to select an GameStop store where you’ll pickup your order. You can do this by using the map feature at the checkout and searching by city, store address, or postal code. Once your order is placed, you cannot change your selected store. You will receive an order confirmation by email and a call from the store once your product arrives. At that time, you’ll be required to pay the balance of your order at the store.

If you would like to cancel your pre-order, please visit the store that you directed the order to. An associate will be more than glad to assist you with the refund.

Please note that your order details will not be visible to the associates at your pick-up location immediately. Details will be sent within 24 hours of placing your order.

Please note: This is a digital product. The product will be delivered in the form of a redeemable code which will be viewable on the "My Order" page.


All orders for Digital products are manually checked by our team prior to approval. If your order is placed outside of normal office hours (Monday to Friday), this may delay processing of your order.


Please note: Digital products are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged once the order has been processed.
